Antique 19th C Solid Cherry Full Double Poster Bed Converted Rope Bed

Antique Full Double Poster Bed from the 1800’s. The frame is solid Cherry and the sculptural headboard and footboard panels are set between beautifully turned tall posts with fancy carvings. Beautiful color and aged patina. Heavy solid Mortise & Tenon Construction. Originally a Rope Bed and later modified by the addition of heavy steel brackets on the rails, which will hold a box spring. On castors Dimensions: 55″ wide x 84″ long x 63″ high. Mattress area=50″ wide
