Description Stamped “High-Neck” knight’s helmet (WKC) TM. Gilded brass pommel shows light surface wear to highlights, with much of the factory matte, honey-gold frosting remaining in recesses of the eagle and swastika. Gilded-steel crossguard shows light wear to highlights with much factory gilding remaining in the recesses of the large capstan style quillons and heavy quillon block with raised anchor motif. The black grip shows minor surface wear and is complete with twisted silver wire wrap. The blade grades EXC showing virtually no wear/age with minor graying, and no pitting or nicks to cutting edges. The blade is complete with red felt buffer pad. The gilded steel hammered scabbard has a couple dents in the obverse lower side, shows light surface wear primarily to the upper obverse shell with much gilding remaining and is complete with oak leaf suspension bands/eyelets and hammered suspension bands. The scabbard throat is retained by two screws.
