Description CARL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN with squirrel in double oval early TM. Above the trademark appears a triangle with the stylized letters R, A, D and a backwards “L” along with Ges. Gesch. Silver hilt fittings show light surface wear with pricks to back-strap. Light brown stag horn grip plates are perfect with no chips or cracks. Polished blade grades EX showing light surface wear/runner marks and some minor gray shadowing. Deeply etched motto retains 98% of the light gray background frosting. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 98% of its original black anodization showing small spot of spidering and minor areas of enamel loss to the sides. Nickel-silver scabbard fittings show light surface wear with scrollwork on the upper fitting and wheat and spade motif on the lower fitting. Lower fitting does show a number of very minor depressions to bottom edge. EX /EX
