Description KRONECK in triangle with crown and ERNST ERICH WITTE, SOLINGEN below TM. Hilt fittings show light surface wear with no damage to pommel and crossguard with art deco stylized RLB eagle on obverse langet. Black wooden grip shows light wear and no cracks or chips. 2nd Pattern RLB starburst insignia is properly pinned to the obverse grip which shows minor loss to enamel and wear to silver-plated over copper starburst. Blade grades EX showing minor surface wear/runner marks. Dent-free steel scabbard retains 75% of the original black enamel showing major spots of paint loss only to the middle section of shell. Dent-free lower scabbard fitting shows no damage but has some lifting to the enamel and has the flush-mounted, headless retaining screws. Complete with black leather hanger. Hanger clip is stamped “DRGM”.
