Description CARL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN etched squirrel holding sword TM. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show surface wear and some lifting with minor areas of plating loss to crossguard and pommel. White celluloid grip plates are perfect with no cracks or chips with no damage to the retaining screws. Polished blade grades EX showing faint surface wear/runner and graying, but no nicks to cutting edge. Blade is complete with black leather blade buffer pad. Reverse upper blade is marked with the etched TENO pattern eagle and “Ges.Gesch”, while the obverse blade is etched with the TENO serial number, “3103”. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 93% of original black factory enamel which shows minor paint chips and faint spidering. Upper and lower nickel-plated scabbard fittings show only light surface wear to the original brushed finish, with no dents, depressions, or damage. Scabbard throat is stamped with the matching serial number, “3103” and scabbard screws are undamaged.
