Description This rare sample board was obtained from the vendor Uniformeffektenfabrik, which was a major supplier of embroidered uniform accoutrements during the Third Reich. Although factory officials were unaware to the original purpose of the board, it represents the highest quality bullion hand embroidery. Dark green, felt covered board measuring 6 1/4″ x 7 1/2″ featuring heavy aluminum embroidered Hunting Association elk head emblem above embroidered oak leaves surrounded by a bullion thread border. Above the emblem is the date, “1942” in aluminum embroidery.
