Description Unmarked. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show wear/age and thinning to plating with light speckling to quillon. Black grip plates show no cracks or chips and hilt is complete with red felt insert. Plated blade grades EX showing surface wear/runner marks and is complete with dark brown leather buffer pad. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 75% of the original black enamel showing light surface wear/crazing on obverse/reverse. Bayonet is complete with leather frog showing light age only with no damage and is marked to reverse: CARL BUSSE MAINZ and 1940.
