Description This bayonet has the eagle head silhouette pommel with eagle feathering. The stag grip plates have a golden tone to the edges and the grip insignia is aluminum with the open winged eagle clutching a wreathed swastika. The 13” blade is in EX condition with only minor speckling on both sides. The Alcoso scales trademark is shown on the obverse side of the blade, and the full company name “Alexander Coppel” is stamped on the reverse side with the Alcoso scales, the ACS letters and Solingen. The reverse ricasso and reverse side of scabbard upper fitting are both marked SAr.II.798. The black leather scabbard is sewn up the back and shows normal wear/age. The nickel scabbard fittings are in excellent condition showing only minor wear/scratches. It has the scalloped edges and the staples on the back are securely in place. Brown leather frog shows a lot of wear where it connects to the scabbard.
