Description Robert Klaas, Solingen (kissing cranes) TM. Early nickel fittings show yellow aging to pommel. Dark Moroccan blue leather covered grip shows wear/age to blue leather and is complete with early thin wire wrap. The blade has minor speckling on both sides and the tip remains in a point plus the blue buffer pad is present. Blue leather covered scabbard with nickel fittings and aluminum chained hanger shows light wear with a few nicks in the leather but no rips or tears and no damage to hanger or suspension clip that is marked “GES. GESCH” with OLC in triangle. The portepee is in EXC /Near MINT condition and is correctly tied to the hilt.
