Two handed Landsknecht Katzbalger Sword 16th Century Style

A Two handed Landsknecht Katzbalger Sword  This sword is a 19th century sword in the style of the 16th century. These swords were used by elite soldiers of the Landsknechts. The hilt is in excellent condition, consisting of a  set of S shaped quillons which spiral and have brass or copper balls at the end of each of them. The grip is wood with leather wrap, the leather is very old but cannot determine the exact age. The pommel decorated with the same twisted pattern. The hilt has no play present. The blade is an double edge blade wand has a single fuller on either side of the blade. The blade is on one both sides stamped with a wolf and o an other unknown marking. The sword is well balanced when wielded with two hands but definitely for a skilled sword smith who has had training with such a weapon . This is a truly amazing piece.
